6.28 Checking Voltage at the Receptacle<br />

WARNING<br />
Electric shock hazard. Only qualified personnel should conduct this<br />
test.<br />
Complete this test with the machine running and both the main circuit<br />
breaker and the receptacle circuit breaker in the ON position.<br />
6.28.1 Using the AC voltage setting on the multimeter, test the receptacle for<br />
115V±10% on 0009379 machines; 230V±10% on 0009377 and<br />
0009485 machines.<br />
6.28.2 If the correct voltage is not measured at the front of the receptacle, test<br />
for voltage at the back of the receptacle. If the correct voltage is<br />
measured at the back of the receptacle but not at the front, the<br />
receptacle has failed; replace it.<br />
