6.22 Confirming a Malfunctioning Circuit Breaker<br />

Electric shock hazard. Only qualified personnel should conduct this<br />
test.<br />
Complete this test with the engine shut down.<br />
6.22.1 Remove the circuit breaker(s) from the control panel.<br />
6.22.2 Place the circuit breaker ON-OFF switch in the ON position.<br />
6.22.3 Using the Ohms scale on the multimeter, test the circuit breaker for<br />
continuity. If you measure no continuity (“OL” or “OPEN”), replace the<br />
breaker. If the breaker has continuity, re-install it.<br />
6.22.4 Place the ON-OFF switch in the OFF position.<br />
