Place/removing
the mixer jug
(see images C3-C6)
Place the lid (4) onto the mixer jug (5)
(see images C3 and C4).
Turn the lid (4) anticlockwise until it
snaps in (see images C5 and C6).
The edge of the lid must snap into the
recess on the base appliance (12) in
order to deactivate the safety lock.
NOTE
► Mixing is only possible when the
mixer jug is locked into position
and the lid is properly placed.
To remove, turn the lid (4) clockwise
and lift it off.
Resetting the boil-dry safety protection
The appliance is equipped with boil-dry
safety protection. It switches itself off automatically
when there is no water in the
tank. The steam indicator lamp (10) extinguishes
at the same time and an acoustic
signal is emitted.
To reset the boil-dry safety protection and
start the next steaming process, allow the
appliance to cool down, turn the rotary
switch (11) to "Reset" and subsequently
back to "Steam" for the next steaming
process .
filling the water tank
(see image D1)
Remove the steamer jug (2) from the
water tank (13).
Fill the tank with water.
NOTE
► Only use fresh cold water.
► Observe the filling level indicator
(13) in the water tank. Do not
overfill!
► You can also use the mixer jug
(150 ml mark) for filling with
water.
Steaming (see image D2/D3)
Insert the plug into the mains socket.
Fill the tank with water (13) as described
in the section Filling the water
tank.
Put the steamer jug (2) onto the water
tank (13) as described in the section
Inserting/removing the steamer jug.
Cut the desired ingredients into small
pieces (approx. 2-3 cm).
Fill the steamer jug (2) with the ingredients.
NOTE
► Observe the mark for the maximum
quantity of vegetables and
meat on the steamer jug (2) (see
image D2). Do not overfill!
► Steam enters into the steamer
jug via 3 openings (see image
D3). If the steamer jug is
overfilled with meat, too much
meat stock is produced. This
enters into the water container
and impairs the boil-dry safety
protection.
