Before using for the first time
■ Clean the appliance as described in
the section Cleaning and care.
■ Fill the kettle (3) with fresh water up to
the MAX mark and allow the water to
boil in order to remove possible production
residues.
– Place the lid (13) onto the kettle (3).
– Place the kettle (3) onto the cordless
socket (1).
– Insert the plug into the mains socket.
– Turn the temperature selection
switch (2) clockwise to the " "
heating function to boil the water.
– Wait until the water boils and then
turn the temperature selection switch
(2) to the "O" position .
– Pour out the water.
NOTE
► During the initial period of use, odour
may be produced by the materials
used in the appliance. The odour will
diminish after a short period of time.
■ Repeat the process.
■ Clean the appliance as described in
the section Cleaning and care.
