Contained on some CD-ROM versions of
Windows 95.
Lists all internal and external MS-DOS 6.x
commands along with syntax and usage
notes. Most command-line utilities in
Windows 9x are similar, so it’s still useful to

Realigns all files into contiguous clusters in
full defrag mode. Windows 98/Me offers
enhanced options for faster program loading.
Run program from the Start button to
adjust properties.
Windows NT 4.0 and earlier must use a
third-party defragmenter, such as Diskeeper.
Windows 2000 contains a defragger based
on Diskeeper.
