In InfoView, when creating a new report that is based on Oracle AS 10g Release 2, Crystal Reports Explorer generates the<br />

following error message: "500 Internal Server Error: OutputStream already retrieved."<br />

New Behavior:<br />

This problem is resolved.<br />

Known Limitations:<br />

To apply this fix, users must modify the web.xml file that is deployed for the adhoc.war file. Note that once this fix is applied,<br />

the exporting and printing features will not function.<br />

1. Go to the following directory: $ORACLE_APPLICATION_SERVER_INSTALL_DIR\j2ee\\applications\\\WEB-INF.<br />

Replace " ORACLE_APPLICATION_SERVER_INSTALL_DIR" with the name of the directory where the Oracle application<br />

server is installed, and replace "WAR file deployment name" with the name of the WAR file used to deploy your application.<br />

2. To enable jspwriter, open the file web.xml with a text editor and add the following lines immediately before "":<br />

3. Save the changes, and then restart your OC4J Instance.<br />

If a user with insufficient retrieval rights refreshes a Desktop <strong>Intelligence</strong> document, an error message appears, and the<br />

document becomes locked for each subsequent request by other users.<br />

The error message is as follows: "OpenDocument (Error:INF)."<br />

New Behavior:<br />

This problem is resolved.<br />

To solve the problem, a more informative error message appears, and documents no longer become locked when users with<br />

insufficient Retrieve rights view or refresh Desktop <strong>Intelligence</strong> documents in InfoView.<br />

Known Limitations:<br />

Users will still need to be assigned Retrieve rights to view or refresh Desktop <strong>Intelligence</strong> documents in InfoView.
