New Behavior: This problem is resolved. Known Limitations: To apply this fix, users must modify the web.xml file that is deployed for the adhoc.war file. Note that once this fix is applied, the exporting and printing features will not function. 1. Go to the following directory: $ORACLE_APPLICATION_SERVER_INSTALL_DIR\j2ee\\applications\\\WEB-INF. Replace " ORACLE_APPLICATION_SERVER_INSTALL_DIR" with the name of the directory where the Oracle application server is installed, and replace "WAR file deployment name" with the name of the WAR file used to deploy your application. 2. To enable jspwriter, open the file web.xml with a text editor and add the following lines immediately before "": viewer.usejspwriter true 3. Save the changes, and then restart your OC4J Instance. To solve the problem, a more informative error message appears, and documents no longer become locked when users with insufficient Retrieve rights view or refresh Desktop Intelligence documents in InfoView. Known Limitations: Users will still need to be assigned Retrieve rights to view or refresh Desktop Intelligence documents in InfoView.
