When using the Live Office Import Wizard to insert a large Web Intelligence report, one that has more than 14 fields, into Excel
the Import Wizard freezes for a moment and then opens the "Data Source" page.
The cause of the problem is that the Live Office Web Intelligence Server session expires after only 60 seconds, which is not
enough time to return data for a large report.
New Behavior:
This problem is resolved.
To solve the problem, the expiry time for the Live Office Web Intelligence Server session has been extended to 600 seconds. In
addition, if for any reason the Wizard is unable to process a large report, an error message appears to advise users of the
problem.
Known Limitations:
It is recommended that users make the following configuration changes:
1. In the Central Management Server, enlarge the value for "Maximum Character File Size" of WIReportServer to approximately
500 MB.
2. Restart WIReportServer.
3. If Tomcat is in use, enlarge the value for the "Initial memory pool" to approximately 800 MB and the value for the "Maximum
memory pool" to approximately 1024 MB.
4. Restart WIReportServer.
