The ShiftDateTime function fails to comply with the new changes to Daylight Savings Time, which take effect from March 11,
2007 to April 1, 2007 and October 28, 2007, to November 4, 2007.
The ShiftDateTime function uses the old Daylight Savings time which starts on first Sunday in April at 2am, and ends on the
last Sunday in October at 2am.
The changes to Daylight Savings Time during this four-week period are a provision of the United States Energy Policy Act of
2005.
The following indicates the time settings currently produced by ShiftDateTime:
ShiftDateTime (DateTime (2007, 3, 11, 1, 0, 0), "PST,480,PDT", "EST,300") -> 4:00am
ShiftDateTime (DateTime (2007, 3, 11, 2, 0, 0), "PST,480,PDT", "EST,300") -> 4:00am 5:00am
New Behavior:
This problem is resolved.
To solve the problem, ShiftDateTime has been modified to follow the new changes to Daylight Saving Time.

In Crystal Reports, the string value that is returned from the “Current CE User Time Zone” Special Field or from the equivalent
formula "CurrentCEUserTimeZone" fails to comply with the new changes to Daylight Savings Time.
This problem happens when the BusinessObjects Enterprise user’s time zone preference setting is set to a United States or
Canadian time zone.
New Behavior:
This problem is resolved.
Crystal Reports has been updated so that when a BusinessObjects Enterprise user’s time zone preference setting is set to a
United States or Canadian time zone the string return value for the “Current CE User Time Zone” Special Field or the equivalent
formula CurrentCEUserTimeZone reflects the change in daylight saving time rules for United States and Canadian time zones
