ADAPT00677733
Description:
Patch ID: 39,638,632
Desktop Intelligence documents that use a prompt are slow to open or refresh in InfoView because InfoView selects List of
Values (LOV) from the database each time.
This problem happens even when the option "Automatic refresh before use" is cleared.
New Behavior:
This problem is resolved.
To enable this fix, users must create the following system variable:
PROCFC_UNIVERSE_STORED_IN_COMMONFOLDER=catcheUniverse
ADAPT00683433
Description:
Patch ID: 39,624,780
When Desktop Intelligence reports are sent as embedded HTML as part of a publication, the email message will contain fonts
of unequal size, and random characters are added to the message.
The problem is caused by the SMTP server, which imposes a line-length limit (usually 990 characters). The STMP server
places a line feed into the HTML when text on a line exceeds the limit. When the line feed is added within an HTML tag,
random characters, incorrect formatting, or incorrect fonts may result.
The best solution to this problem would be to have the SMTP server (which sends the email) configured to have no limit on the
length of lines.
New Behavior:
This problem is resolved.
To solve the problem, before sending the email to the SMTP server, line feeds are added to the HTML in logical places. This
solution reduces odds that any line will exceed the line limit.
Known Limitations:
This problem may still happen when a long line of text is used in a single table element.
ADAPT00684695
Description:
Patch ID: 39,650,997
When a text object contains a summary, users cannot manipulate the text field at run time (for example: myTxtObj.Left = 100).
The following error message appears: "COMException was unhandled Field not found."
New Behavior:
This problem is resolved.
