stored in the repository.<br />

To solve the problem, the required information is stored in the repository.<br />

When users create a Crystal report that is based on a universe and uses a prompt to filter Unicode data in the Query Filter,<br />

records in the report fail to retrieve data.<br />

This problem happens only when Unicode data is used in the report. When other types of data are used in the report, the<br />

records retrieve data successfully.<br />

New Behavior:<br />

This problem is resolved.<br />

To implement this fix, users must do the following when creating a report that is based on a universe:<br />

1) Connect to a universe in Crystal Reports.<br />

The Query Panel opens.<br />

2) Click "Properties."<br />

3) In the Query Options section, select the "???Unicode Strings" checkbox.<br />
