When users use the parameter $CURRENT_DATE$ for Datapoint navigation in Speedometer, an error message appears when
users open the report to add values to its prompts.
The error message is as follows: "Internal error occurred: The query cannot run because the prompt contains an invalid date.
(Error: WIS 10706)."
New Behavior:
This problem is resolved.
Known Limitations:
Note that the $CURRENT_DATE$ parameter must be used with unique locale settings and passed as follows:
- To obtain a date format of Month/Day/Year on a system that is set to the locale English (US), format the parameter as follows:
$CURRENT_DATE(m/d/y)$
- To obtain a date format of Day/Month/Year on a system that is set to the locale English (UK), format the parameter as follows:
$CURRENT_DATE(d/m/y)$
- To obtain a date format of Year/Month/Day on a system that is set to the locale French (Canada), format the parameter as
follows: $CURRENT_DATE(y-m-d)$
