Job Processing
ADAPT00521939
Description:
Patch ID: 38105908
Reports scheduled to the Job Server will fail if a second Report Job Server is added to a Crystal Enterprise system from the CMC and auditing is
enabled.
When the job fails, the following error message appears: "Audit notification failed. Please contact your system administrator."
The cause of the problem is that, in the code, the name of the audit file is created with the name of the Job Server as its root. If the name given to
the second job server is long, the length of the subsequent audit file name may exceed an internal limit and become truncated, prompting the
error.
New Behavior:
The problem is resolved.
To fix the problem, the naming scheme has now been revised.
