CE10WIN_EN_SP3 General CCM Issues ADAPT00250449 Description: Patch ID: 36811941 If limits are set for the number of object instances, the extra instances for objects created by a deleted user are not removed. New Behavior: This issue has been resolved by assigning the objects of a deleted user to the owner of the deleted user. General CMC Issues ADAPT00338536 Description: Patch ID: 36680946 The value of a parameter for a report cannot be set to an empty string (""). Instead, for an empty parameter, the parameter value always showed EMPTY. The implication was that the report could not be scheduled. New Behavior: Now, if no parameter value is selected, two double quotes ("") show up as the parameter's value, and the report can be scheduled. The report will show no records, as intended, since no parameter value was entered. General Desktop Issues ADAPT00347436 Description: Patch ID: 36871458 Field descriptions are not displayed in the Visual Linking Expert in Crystal Reports version 10. This problem occurs when users open a version 8.5 SAP R/3 Crystal Report. New Behavior: This problem is resolved. Hyperlinks/navigation ADAPT00353802 Description: Patch ID: 36830098 If an ePortfolio alert is viewed in Crystal Enterprise, and the alert formula contains a "+" character, an error message appears. The cause of the problem is that the alert formula fails to be URL encoded. New Behavior: This problem is resolved. Import ADAPT00404878 Description: Patch ID: 37198797 When users run a report that uses the native XML driver, data can be refreshed only once. Subsequent refreshes fail with the error “Failed to open rowset.” The cause of the problem is that the XML driver and its components consume all available memory. New Behavior: The XML driver and its components use less memory, which enables subsequent refreshes to operate without error.
CE10WIN_EN_SP3 Install ADAPT00358204 Description: Patch ID: 36722393 Installing the ce10win_en.zip weekly hotfix (Nov 5, 2004) causes the Crystal Configuration Manager (CCM) to cease functioning. The error message is as follows: “title: SvcMgr.exe - Entry Point Not found The procedure entry point ?_gTriggerRestart@SIServerController@CXLIB106@@0W4_ERestartFlag@12@A could not be located in the dynamic link library cxlibw-1-6.dll” New Behavior: SVCMGR.exe now works with the new CXLIBW. Integration ADAPT00386216 Description: Patch ID: 37060609 The Web application server terminates when users view a large Excel instance in Crystal Enterprise. Also, a coredump is generated. New Behavior: This problem is resolved. The following behavior was responsible for the problem: when a user views a large Excel instance, Crystal Enterprise loads the whole spreadsheet into memory. As it is transferring to client browser, it makes copies of the same instance in memory, which terminates the Web application server because the memory runs out. Java applet viewer ADAPT00407439 Description: The Barcode font fails to display properly in the Java viewer. Patch ID: 37207633 The cause of the problem is that the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) maps the glyphs of a symbol font to a Unicode location that is different to the Unicode location that is used for Basic Latin and Latin-1. New Behavior: This problem is resolved. Java SDK ADAPT00323109 Description: Patch ID: 36656076 The XML driver reads the data source twice when the viewer.processHttpRequest call is made. This duplication increases network traffic and slows down performance. New Behavior: If the parameter value remains unchanged, the XML driver reads the data source only once.
