ADAPT00501381
Description:
Patch ID: 37930229
An additional concurrent license is consumed when a user opens or creates a report that is based on a Business View in Crystal Reports Explorer.
The problem is caused by a formatting error in the logon token, which causes an additional license to be consumed when the Print Engine logs on
to the Crystal Enterprise repository.
New Behavior:
This problem is resolved.
Microsoft Excel
ADAPT00338484
Description:
Patch ID: 36959067
When a numeric field is formatted with the "reversed sign" and exported to Excel, the sign for the value in the exported copy may reverse back to
its original sign.
The problem occurs because the wrong Number format is exported to Excel when different combinations of "reverse sign" and "sign positioning"
are used. The format string in Excel has separate portions for positive and negative numbers. When the reverse sign is used, portions in the
format string are swapped, to maintain the correct display. However, initially only the sign of the strings is swapped.
New Behavior:
To correct the problem, both the sign and the display portion of the string are swapped.
ADAPT00415653
Description:
Patch ID: 37349986
When users export or schedule a report to Microsoft Excel format, column headers are exported with a new-line character at the end of the field.
In addition, all fields in a Cross-Tab report also contain this new-line character.
The cause of the problem is that the "Can Grow" property of fields fails to check for the number of paragraphs that are contained in the field. As
a result, a new-line character is appended to the end of the final paragraph in the field, because Can Grow is unaware that the final paragraph is
not followed by another paragraph.
New Behavior:
This problem is resolved. In the cases of Cross-Tab reports and column headers, the new-line character is no longer exported.
Known Limitations:
Note that this issue has been found only in Microsoft Office Excel 2003.
