Additional LEPF considerations are contained in this section under the packet descriptions for symbolic and omnibus elements and in 5.3. • If this program file is an LEPF, procedure elements (element type 1, subtype 035 and element types 2, 3, and 4), relocatable elements (element type 5), and executable elements (element type 6) may not be added to the PF. 5–24 7833 1733–004
BSP$-Program File Basic Service Package • The calling program is responsible for updating the FTI next write location in word FCT+7 (see Figure 5–1). • If the element being added is a relocatable element, the Relocatable Element Entry Point Table control information in the FTI is cleared. This removes the table when the FTI is written back to the program file. The meaning of this field depends on one of the following two program file types: • For a PF or LPF, this field is not used and should be zero. • For an LEPF, this field contains the granularity of the length of element-text field in word 7. The following may be specified for element-text-length granularity: 0 Element text length is in number of sectors 1 Element text length is in number of tracks.
