BSP$-Program File Basic Service Package
044
046
047
No room for item
Illegal element type of 1 (subtype 035 only), 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 for LEPF
Illegal element text length granularity value for LEPF
7700000000xx
I/O error, where xx is the I/O status retured
It may be necessary to write the requested table back to mass storage (WPFxxT$)
and write the FTI (WFTI$) to appropriately update the file for changes that were
successfully made before the error occurred. Otherwise the file is left in a partially
corrupted state.
normal return
Requested item has been added to designated table.
A0 = address in buffer of item added
A1 = new sequence number
A2 = sequence number of duplicate element or 0
If the item being added duplicates an existing item, the existing item is automatically
marked as deleted by BSP$.
If the item being added is for the Element Table (ETIA$ function), the following items
should be noted:
• If the first word of the version name in the packet (word 4) is zeroes, blanks will be
used for the entire version name (words 4 and 5).
• If time and date in the packet (word 9) are zeroes, the current time and date will be
used.
• If this program file is a PF or LPF (RFTI$ or RFTI$$ normal return with A1, bit 29
clear; see 5.1.1), the element may have at most 262,143 sectors of element text.
• If this program file is an LEPF (RFTI$$ normal return with A1, bit 29 set) the element
may have over 262,143 sectors of element text. Additional LEPF considerations are
contained in this section under the packet descriptions for symbolic and omnibus
elements and in 5.3.
• If this program file is an LEPF, procedure elements (element type 1, subtype 035 and
element types 2, 3, and 4), relocatable elements (element type 5), and executable
elements (element type 6) may not be added to the PF.
