INFOR Information
When a program is executed as a processor, the OS 2200 Exec converts the processor
call statement into internal format (INFOR) and supplies it as input data to the first
symbiont read operation performed by the program.
Note: This conversion occurs only for programs that are executed as a processor
(@program) and not for programs executed with the @XQT control statement (@XQT
program).
G.1. INFOR Identifiers for Processor Call Statement
The following diagram shows the general format of a processor call statement and the
parts that are identified by INFOR.
INFOR identifies the processor, options part of the processor call statement as field type
0. This is referred to as the command field. It is composed of field 1 and the option
field. The field?1, field?2, ...,field?n part of the call statement is identified as field type 1
and is referred to as the specification field. It is composed of a variable number of
fields. INFOR does not include the label field and comment field of the processor call
statement.
Note: In other Unisys documents, the command field may be referred to as the
processor field or operation field. The specification field may be referred to as the
operand field, parameter operand, or parameter field.
