AEDIT$–ASCII Image Composition Editing Package<br />

The format of the AEDIT$ packet is shown in Figure 4–1. This packet format is provided<br />

for information only; the AEDIT$ packet is generated by the MASM procedures<br />

described in 4.1.2. The size of the AEDIT$ packet is 17 words. This packet is used for<br />

all AEDIT$, AEDIT$F, AEDIT$T, and AEDIT$SFDT functions.<br />

If A$EDITPKT is not called to generate the AEDIT$ packet, then the calling program must<br />

supply the fields of the AEDIT$ packet indicated by italics. All other fields in the packet<br />

are reserved for use by AEDIT$, and are not to be used by the calling program.<br />
