24.5. Control Flags<br />

The location of some of SNOOPY's control flags is externalized with the label SNFLG$.<br />

In addition, the system procedure SN$DEF provides mnemonic tags for the following<br />

flags:<br />

BYPADD<br />

CCALL<br />

Set to bypass from @ADD streams when reading a SNOOPY command.<br />

(SNFLG$+2,,S2)<br />

Set by SNCNT$, cleared by SNCLR$. (SNFLG$,,S2)<br />

CMODE<br />

Set when tracing a contingency routine. (SNFLG$+1,,S2)<br />

COMPRT<br />

Set for compressed print ("PRINT C"), clear for expanded print. (SNFLG$+1,,S3)<br />

CONTINGF<br />

ECHO<br />

Set when a contingency has occurred, otherwise clear. (SNFLG$,,S5)<br />

Set for echo mode of ALTPRT. (SNFLG$+1,,S6)<br />

NOHDG<br />

Suppresses SNOOPY sign-on and sign-off messages. (SNFLG$+2,,S4)<br />

OLDSKP<br />

Saved value of REMSKPIT when RLIB$T = 0 and WASRLB = 1. (SNFLG$+1,,S5)<br />

REMBRK<br />

Set when the break contingency has occurred or by encountering a condition set by<br />

the SKIP (or number) command, the BREAK command, or the TRAP command.<br />

When set, SNOOPY enters command mode before interpreting the next instruction.<br />

REMOTE<br />

Clear for batch mode, set for demand mode. (SNFLG$,,S1)<br />
