This completes the SDFI read operation. SDFO–System Data Format Output Routine SDFO writes images one at a time from the calling program to an SDF file or element. SDFO has the following functions and entry points: • Open SDFO (SDFOO$, SDFOOSF$) • Write an image (SDFO$) • Close SDFO (SDFOC$) The calling program must open SDFO before writing images to the file or element and close SDFO after all images are written. The packet (or FCT) for SDFO is described in 21.2.1. The open, write, and close functions of SDFO are described in 21.2.2.1, 21.2.2.2, and 21.2.2.3, respectively. 21.2.1. Packet The calling program must provide an 11-word packet for SDFO. The packet (or FCT) for SDFO is described in Figure 21–2. The packet may be generated with the S$DFCT procedure, described in 21.2.1.2. The same 11-word packet should not be used for both SDFI and SDFO. 21–10 7833 1733–004
