2.7. <strong>SYSLIB</strong>$ID–<strong>SYSLIB</strong> Identification<br />

<strong>SYSLIB</strong>$ID is a relocatable element in the <strong>SYSLIB</strong> installation file, SYS$LIB$*<strong>SYSLIB</strong>. It<br />

is also included in each of the <strong>SYSLIB</strong> common banks. This element identifies the<br />

<strong>SYSLIB</strong> level only. That is, it does not perform any functions. <strong>SYSLIB</strong>$ID defines the<br />

following external labels:<br />

<strong>SYSLIB</strong>$ID1 First 4 characters of ID in ASCII<br />

<strong>SYSLIB</strong>$ID2 Second 4 characters of ID in ASCII<br />

<strong>SYSLIB</strong>$ID3 Third 4 characters of ID in ASCII<br />

For example, the definitions for <strong>SYSLIB</strong> 75R2Q7 are<br />

<strong>SYSLIB</strong>$ID1 $EQU 75R2<br />

<strong>SYSLIB</strong>$ID2 $EQU Q7∆∆<br />
