ROUTING_CONSOLE<br />

PLUS Attribute: 8 ASCII characters<br />

The console to which the message is sent. This definition is a legacy from Exec<br />

levels prior to 40R1 and is supplied for compatability only. All currently supported<br />

Exec levels use the ROUTING_INFORMATION definition, described below. See the<br />

Exec ER <strong>Programming</strong> <strong>Reference</strong> <strong>Manual</strong> for further details.<br />

ROUTING_INFORMATION<br />

PLUS Attribute: 36-bit machine logical<br />

This caller supplied routing information overlays the first 4 characters of<br />

ROUTING_CONSOLE. This field should be used when the routing information to be<br />

supplied for the ER COM$ request is either a 6-Fieldata character-site id or binary<br />

information. See the ER COM$ section of the Exec ER <strong>Programming</strong> <strong>Reference</strong><br />

<strong>Manual</strong> for further details.<br />
