SAR$ ATREAD SA$OTEXTB The address of the output text buffer, into which the caller places the character text to be written out. SA$OTEXTBL The length in 9-bit bytes of the character text in the text buffer. SA$OATTRT The address of the output attribute table into which the caller places the attributes describing the character text to be written out. This field is undefined if the output attribute table word length is zero. SA$OATTRTL The number of valid entries in the attribute table. (Each entry is one word.) A value of zero indicates there is no output attribute table. SA$ITEXTB The address of the input text buffer into which ATREAD places the character text of the image read. SA$ITEXTBL The length in 9-bit bytes of the input text buffer. SA$IATTRT The address of the input attribute table into which ATREAD places the attributes describing the character text of the image read. This field is undefined if the input attribute table word length is zero. SA$IATTRTL The length in words of the input attribute table. A length of zero indicates that there is no input attribute table. 19.2.1.2. Optional Information for ATREAD Procedures The calling program may optionally set the following fields of the ATREAD packet. SA$OCHART The character set type of the image to be output by ATREAD: SAR$ ATREAD 0 ASCII/ISO 9-bit characters (default), including all ASCII-like types in Table H–1. 1 Attributed character data (ACD). Other character set types may not be written out by ATREAD. See 18.3 for details on the allowed output character set types. SA$LINESPA The number of lines to space before writing out the image (default is 1). SA$ISLIST The address of the input select list that specifies which attributes of the input image to return to the caller. This field is undefined if the input select list byte length is zero. SA$ISLISTL The length in 9-bit bytes of the input select list. A length of zero indicates that there is no input select list (default). SA$REQTYPE The requested type of input: 0 1 SA$PCW Do not search for embedded shift-coded kanji in ASCII/ISO (default) Search for any embedded shift-coded kanji in ASCII/ISO input, and convert it into internal format (text part and attributes part). The number of words to set the print line width to. This value may be determined by dividing the desired number of columns by the constant SA$PCW$CHARS. This value must be set prior to calling S$ARINITATR. If this field is not set, the print line width will not be changed by S$ARINITATR (it may still be changed by S$ARATREAD if an image is encountered which is greater than the current print line width). Following the call to S$ARINITATR, this field is used to keep track of the current print line width; therefore, the caller should not modify this field following the S$ARINITATR call. 7833 1733–004 19–15
