PLUS Attribute: 6-bit status<br />

The character set type to be output by SAR$:<br />

S'ASCII_ISO'<br />

S'ACD'<br />

ASCII/ISO 9-bit characters (default) and all other ASCII-like types in Table H–1.<br />

Attributed character data (ACD).<br />

A value of any ASCII-like character set type in Table H–1.<br />

Other character set types may not be written out by SAR$. See 18.3 for details on<br />

the allowed output character set types.<br />

INPUT_TEXT_CHARACTER_TYPE<br />

PLUS Attribute: 6-bit status<br />

If the character set type of the text placed in the text buffer is Fieldata, this field<br />

must be set to S'Fieldata'. Otherwise, this field is set to S'ASCII_ISO' (default). The<br />

WRITE procedure converts Fieldata to ASCII/ISO before it is written out.<br />

UNTRANSLATE_MODE<br />

PLUS Attribute: 6-bit status<br />

The untranslate mode flag setting:<br />

S'Off'<br />

S'On'<br />

An error is returned if character set types other than ASCII/ISO, ACD, or ASCIIlike<br />

are specified for output (default).<br />

Character set types other than ASCII/ISO, ACD, or ASCII-like are written to the<br />

output file untranslated. This is set to output Fieldata.<br />
