SAR$ READ SR$CALLST The status code of the current open-input, read, or close-input function calls. See Table 17–6 for an explanation of the octal status codes. SR$IOSTAT The status of any I/O operations performed by the READ procedures. See Table 17–7 for the octal status codes. SR$SYMBST The status word returned from an ER SYMB$ request. See the SYMB$ section of the Exec ER Programming Reference Manual for further details on the SYMB$ status word. SR$RECBUFL The recommended buffer or table length when an invalid length is specified or when an overflow occurs. SR$TEXTLEN The length in 9-bit bytes of the character text returned in the text buffer. SR$NUMATTR The number of attributes returned in the attribute table. SR$CHARTYP The character set type of the image returned to the caller: 0 Fieldata 6-bit characters 01 ASCII/ISO 9-bit characters 077 Attributed character data (ACD) A value of any ASCII-like character set type defined in Table H–1. If SR$UNTRFLG is zero (untranslate mode off), then any Fieldata images read are translated to ASCII/ISO before they are returned to the caller. See 17.3 for details on allowed input character set types. SR$INCHARTYP The character set type of the image in the source input file or element. Contains the code type from the last 050 or 042 control record encountered in the input file or element. 17–24 7833 1733–004
SR$IMGSEC SAR$ READ The mass storage sector address of the SDF image read. This field is undefined if input is from the runstream or an alternate READ$ file. SR$IMGWO is contained in S1 of this field. SR$IMGWO The word offset into the mass storage sector address of the SDF image read. This field is undefined if input is from the runstream or an alternate READ$ file. SR$LNUMTYP The type of line number returned with the image read: 0 1 2 SR$LNUMINT No line number was read from the input; an SAR$ generated line number is returned. See SR$LNUMFMT in 17.2.1.2. A CTS line number is returned. A fractional line number is returned. The line number returned by SAR$. It may be a CTS line number, the integer part of a fractional line number, or a generated sequential line number (see SR$LNUMTYP). SR$LNUMF1 The first 10 digits of the fractional part of a fractional line number. This field is defined only if SR$LNUMTYP is 2. SR$LNUMF2 The second 10 digits of the fractional part of a fractional line number. This field is defined only if SR$LNUMTYP is 2. SR$LNUMF3 The third 10 digits of the fractional part of a fractional line number. This field is defined only if SR$LNUMTYP is 2.
