SR$CALLST<br />

The status code of the current open-input, read, or close-input function calls. See<br />

Table 17–6 for an explanation of the octal status codes.<br />

SR$IOSTAT<br />

The status of any I/O operations performed by the READ procedures. See<br />

Table 17–7 for the octal status codes.<br />

SR$SYMBST<br />

The status word returned from an ER SYMB$ request. See the SYMB$ section of<br />

the Exec ER <strong>Programming</strong> <strong>Reference</strong> <strong>Manual</strong> for further details on the SYMB$<br />

status word.<br />

SR$RECBUFL<br />

The recommended buffer or table length when an invalid length is specified or when<br />

an overflow occurs.<br />

SR$TEXTLEN<br />

The length in 9-bit bytes of the character text returned in the text buffer.<br />

SR$NUMATTR<br />

The number of attributes returned in the attribute table.<br />

SR$CHARTYP<br />

The character set type of the image returned to the caller:<br />

0 Fieldata 6-bit characters<br />

01 ASCII/ISO 9-bit characters<br />

077 Attributed character data (ACD)<br />

A value of any ASCII-like character set type defined in Table H–1.<br />

If SR$UNTRFLG is zero (untranslate mode off), then any Fieldata images read are<br />

translated to ASCII/ISO before they are returned to the caller. See 17.3 for details on<br />

allowed input character set types.<br />

SR$INCHARTYP<br />

The character set type of the image in the source input file or element. Contains the<br />

code type from the last 050 or 042 control record encountered in the input file or<br />

element.<br />
