SR$UNTRFLG
The untranslate mode flag setting.
SR$SDFCNTL
SAR$ READ
Untranslate mode is off: an error is returned if SAR$ reads a character set type
other than 00 (Fieldata), 01 (ASCII/ISO), 077 (ACD) (default), or ASCII-like.
Untranslate mode is on: all input is passed to the caller untranslated.
This field specifies which SDF control records to return to the caller. Bits 0 to 31
may be set by the caller, where bit 0 is the leftmost bit of the field. If bit n is set, the
control record type (n + 040) is returned to the caller. The image control word of the
control record is returned in SR$SDFICW, and any data words of the control record
are returned in the text buffer. If this field is set to zero, no control records are
returned to the caller (default).
Note that the control record type 051 is not returned unless it is used to continue a
type 061 control record. Therefore, it is suggested that the caller specify that type
051 records be returned if type 061 records are desired, and vice-versa.
SR$ADDRSEC
The mass storage sector address of the next image to be read. This field is used if
the image to be read is not the next sequential image. If this field is set to zero, the
next sequential image is read (default). It is undefined if the input is not from an SDF
file or element. This field contains SR$ADDRWO in S1 of the word.
SR$ADDRWO
The word offset into the mass storage sector address of the next image to be read.
This field is used if the image to be read is not the next sequential image. If this
field is set to zero, the next sequential image is read (default). This field is undefined
if the input is not from an SDF file or element.
17.2.1.3. Information Returned by READ Procedures
The following fields of the READ packet contain values returned to the calling program
by the SAR$ READ procedures.
SR$STATUS
The READ function status word; it contains the call status in H2, the substatus in T1,
and the I/O status in S3.
