SAR$ READ<br />

The address of the input text buffer into which SAR$ places the character text of the<br />

image read. Subsection 16.1.2 describes the text buffer.<br />

SR$TEXBUFL<br />

The length in 9-bit bytes of the input text buffer.<br />

SR$ATTRIB<br />

The address of the input attribute table, into which SAR$ places the attributes<br />

describing the character text of the image read. This field is undefined if the<br />

attribute table word length is zero. Subsection 16.1.2 describes the format of the<br />

attribute table.<br />

SR$ATTRIBL<br />

The length in words of the input attribute table. A length of zero indicates that there<br />

is no input attribute table.<br />

17.2.1.2. Optional Information for READ Procedures<br />

The calling program may optionally set the following fields of the READ packet. The<br />

default values are obtained by zero-filling the READ packet before placing any<br />

information in the packet.<br />

SR$SELLST<br />

The address of the select list that specifies which attributes to return to the caller.<br />

This field is undefined if the select list byte length is zero. Subsection 16.1.2<br />

describes the format of the select list.<br />

SR$SELLSTL<br />

The length in 9-bit bytes of the select list. A length of zero indicates that there is no<br />

select list (default).<br />
