CHARACTER_CODE<br />

PLUS Attribute: 6-bit logical)<br />

The character set type of the image returned to the caller after any translation:<br />

0 Fieldata 6-bit characters<br />

01 ASCII/ISO 9-bit characters<br />

077 Attributed character data (ACD)<br />

A value of any ASCII-like character set type in Table H–1.<br />

If UNTRANSLATE_MODE is set to S'Off', then any Fieldata images read are<br />

translated to ASCII/ISO before they are returned to the caller. See 17.3 for details on<br />

allowed input character set types.<br />

INPUT_CHARACTER_CODE<br />

PLUS Attribute: 6-bit status<br />

The character set type of the image in the source input file or element. Contains the<br />

code type from the last 050 or 042 control record encountered in the input file or<br />

element.<br />

IMAGE_ADDRESS_SECTOR<br />

PLUS Attribute: 24-bit integer<br />

The mass storage sector address of the SDF image read. This field is undefined if<br />

input is from the runstream or an alternate READ$ file.<br />

IMAGE_ADDRESS_WORD_OFFSET<br />

PLUS Attribute: 6-bit integer<br />

The word offset into the mass storage sector address of the SDF image read. This<br />

field is undefined if input is from the runstream or an alternate READ$ file.<br />

IMAGE_ADDRESS<br />

PLUS Attribute: word machine integer<br />

This field is a one word combination of IMAGE_ADDRESS_SECTOR and<br />

IMAGE_ADDRESS_WORD_OFFSET, contained in bits 13 to 36 and in bits 1 to 6,<br />

respectively. (Bit 1 is the left-most bit of the field.)<br />
