PREPRM, PREPRO, PREPF$, and POSTPR$
14.3. POSTPR$–Postprocessor Routine
POSTPR$ removes all changes in the assignment status of a file that PREPRO,
PREPRM, or PREPF$ made.
Calling Sequence

All files specified on the processor call statement are restored to the status they had
before the processor call.
The error return is taken if POSTPR$ receives a nonzero status code from a call to ER
CSF$.
14.4. FLDREL$–Field Release
FLDREL$ removes changes in the assignment of program files that were made by
FLDGETO$ or FLDGETM$.
Calling Sequence

where address is the address of the data area given to FLDGET$.
Using the information saved in the first three words of the data area pointed to by
address, the file is restored to the state it was in before FLDGET$ was called.
The error return is taken if the free returns a negative status.
