CABSAD$, CRELAD$–Addressing Routines 6.2.4. CSN$–Convert Segment Index to Segment Name CSN$ determines the symbolic segment name that corresponds to the given segment index and returns it in registers A0 and A1 in Fieldata format, left-justified, and spacefilled. CSN$ is the function code that determines which of the absolute addressing routines is called by C$RELAD. It must be enclosed by apostrophes. seg-index Segment index of the segment is to be translated into a segment name. This parameter may be included as a number, as a tag that has been equated to a number, or as the address of a word that contains the value of the number. Section 7 CONWRD$–Condition Word Routine The CONWRD$ routine manipulates bits 7 and 8 of the condition word (bit 0 is the leftmost bit of the word). These bits indicate whether a task completed successfully or unsuccessfully, and are defined as follows: Bit 7 If set, one or more previous tasks had an error. Bit 8 If set, the most recent task had an error. See the Exec ER Programming Reference Manual for details on the condition word. The EXEC extensions to ER SETC$ and @SETC that use bits 7 and 8 of the condition word are in level 38R2 and higher levels. CONWRD$ can be called from both MASM or PLUS routines. CONWRD$ is available as a relocatable element in the SYSLIB file (SYS$LIB$*SYSLIB) or SYS$*RLIB$ and also in the SYSLIB common bank SYSLIB$1. The relocatable and common bank entry points to CONWRD$ are listed in Appendix E. 7.1. MASM Interface CONWRD$ is called with the MASM PROC C$ONWRD. This PROC can call CONWRD$ as a relocatable element, a common bank element, or a common bank element using the Auto Switch method.
