listening situations.<br />
A ‘transmitter’ is used to pick up and transmit a speaker’s voice<br />
directly to the FM receiver. <strong>For</strong> example, a teacher will speak into the<br />
transmitter, and children in the class with an FM receiver will ‘pick up’<br />
