(ii) Grading Requirements<br />

The aggregate shall con<strong>for</strong>m to the grading requirements indicated in Table 406.2<br />

2. Horizontal Alignment<br />

The edges of WMM base will be correct within a tolerance limit of (±) 30 mm in plain and rolling<br />

terrain and (±) 50 mm in hilly terrain.<br />

3. Surface Level<br />

The tolerance in surface levels of the WMM would be (±) 10 mm: (A grid of 10 m by 2.5 m may be<br />

<strong>for</strong>med to check the surface levels).<br />

4. Surface Regularity<br />

The maximum permissible undulation measured with a 3 m straight edge, in the longitudinal<br />

profile shall be 10 mm and <strong>for</strong> cross profile the irregularity shall not exceed 8 mm.<br />
