1. Protect utility services during construction period.<br />

2. Control soil erosion, sedimentation and reduce<br />

levels of noise, vibration, dust and emissions from<br />

construction plant and equipment.<br />

3. Keep the roadside and surroundings clean and free<br />

from dust, mud or other extraneous material.<br />

4. Cut material should be disposed of at predetermined<br />

dumping places.<br />

1. Do not carry out any clearance or alterations to any<br />

utility unless especially ordered by the Engineer.<br />

2. Do not cause any damage to public utilities.<br />

3. Do not pollute natural water-courses, pools, tanks and<br />

reservoirs.<br />

4. Do not use hazardous materials without providing<br />

protective clothing, masks, shoes etc. to the workers.<br />

1. Ensure that a detailed construction methodology is submitted by the Contractor prior to start of<br />

the construction activities in accordance with the Contract Agreement. The construction<br />

methodology will include:-<br />

(i) Mechanical Equipment proposed to be used.<br />

(ii) Sequence of various activities and schedule from start to end of the project.<br />

Programme relating to pavement and shoulder construction shall be an integrated activity to be done<br />

simultaneously in a coordinated manner. The methodology and sequence shall be so planned as to<br />

provide proper safety, drainage and smooth movement of traffic.
