o TATA Port which is given on lease by Adani
Adani is having 1024 equipments
Adani is also having 50 vessels
Largest private port in India
Got opportunity to see unloading of coal through bulk cargo.
Adani takes the help of conveyer belt for transporting coal from unloading area to the
power plant.
Introduction
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ),
India's largest private port and special economic zone, was incorporated as Gujarat Adani Port
Limited (GAPL) in 1998 to develop a private port at Mundra, on the west coast of India. The
company commenced commercial operations in October 2001. Mundra Special Economic Zone
Limited (MSEZL) was incorporated in November 2003, to set up an SEZ at Mundra. MSEZL
was merged with GAPL in April 2006 and the company was renamed as Mundra Port and
Special Economic Zone Limited, to reflect the nature of business. The board of MPSEZL on Nov
21,2011 has approved a proposal to change the company's name to Adani Ports and Special
Economic Zone Ltd. and this change in name from MPSEZL to APSEZL has come into effect
from Jan.6,2012.

Cargo.
We got a chance to see “OEL KUTCH” a Mumbai vessel from inside.
o In it we had seen living area of crew members
o Whole pantry where food and other basic things were been prepared.
o Than we saw control room of ship where merchant navy people made us
acknowledge with how radar works and how ship moves including the
observation of maps and other important functions of vessel.
o We also seen the auditorium room and other living area of the ship
o We also saw container getting loaded in vessel.
