Report Of Orientation Programme (MBA) batch 2012-14.
In order to orient MBA students of batch 2012-14 Parul group of management
institutes organized an orientation programme on 31 st July 2012 at Parul campus.
The venue of the programmes was central auditorium of the campus with more
than 200 students of batch 2012-14 attended the programme apart from another
200 students of batch 2011-13. Registration process for the students started at
8:30 AM while welcome of the guests and students took place at 9:30 AM. There
was a brief introduction of Chief Guest, Guest Of Honor, Key note speaker along
with directors of Parul Institute Of Management & Research, Parul Institute Of
Management and Parul Institute Of Engineering & Technology’s MBA programme.
All the dignitaries could grace the occasion by lightning the lamp and Saraswati
Vandana. There was a brief introduction of Parul Arogya Seva Mandal and
Managing Trustees followed by welcome speech by Dr.P.G.K.Murthy, director
Parul Institute Of Management & Research. Dr. Murthy could highlight
importance of understanding the habits of successful people as mentioned by
Stephen covey and adopting same by the student.
Managing Trustee of Parul Arogya Seva Mandal Dr. Debanshu Patel could inspire
students by quoting the line “Who will cry when you die?” of Robin Sharma and
his own philosophy of life out of the said line. He could highlight the fact that

Parul campus is having one of the best infrastructure and learner centric
approach which could help our MBAs to fetch jobs in reputed organization.
Presidential address by Guruji G Narayana on “Succeeding in Management and
life” was quite inspiring for the entire audience as he could relate things with
some practical exercise while elaborating various senses in human body. Guest of
honor Mr.Hirve from Central Bank Of India could highlight the importance of
understanding forex market and how smart people can earn money from same, is
possible with the advent of technology or internet. Dr. Mandi Prasad who is also
guest of honor of the programme could explain on the topic “How to be an
entrepreneur during MBA”. Dr. Prasad could focus on the need for establishment
of centre for excellence for entrepreneurship while elaborating the term
innovation for young mind. (Sir can you please add the portion of Mr.Hirve &
Dr.Mandi Prasad as I was not present in the hall during their speech). Dr. Bijal
Zaveri & CS. Ashutosh Sandhe could highlight their respective approaches in MBA
programme. Prof. Rajinder Kaur of Parul Institute Of Management & Research
could further elaborate the class timing with room numbers . While after
memento presentation to the guests , vote of thanks was extended by prof.
Pinakin Jaiswal of Parul Institute Of Management & Research. With national
anthem, programme took a concluding note.
