Bridge 9320 was built in 1967 and is near the end
of its life expectancy. Bridge 9320 is fracture
critical, meaning that if one of the critical members
of the bridge fails, the entire structure could fail.
Project Risks:
The close proximity of this bridge to Trunk
Highway 61, the railroad tracks and the Minnesota
Rest Area, will make the roadway and bridge
geometry challenging. There will be numerous
environmental permits required.
