Project History:
This portion of I-94 was constructed in 1970. It
has severely cracked and potholes are developing
as the pavement structure continues to deteriorate.
Project Benefits:
New concrete surface will provide long life, less
maintenance, eliminate potholes, and improve
ride. By doing all this, it will also increase safety.
Shoulders will be brought to current design widths.
Project Risks:
Design is not completed. Environmental
regulations for the deck drain piping and concrete
paving may change.
