• Setting up and maintaining the development and testing environments, including a full tool<br />

• Knowledge build-up regarding the system(s) for which services will be provided<br />
• Planning<br />
4.2.5.2 The support, maintenance and development work stream<br />
This work stream will consist mostly of consecutive stages. Under T&M contracts, <strong>ECHA</strong> will<br />
constantly monitor the productivity rate of the Contractor. The start of a new stage is dependent on<br />
whether the productivity rate of the previous stage(s) was satisfactory.<br />
Some or all of the following activities are foreseen for this work stream<br />
• Project Management<br />
• Planning<br />
• Day-to-day management of the project team<br />
• Reporting<br />
• Information systems studies in areas like<br />
• Architecture analysis<br />
• Requirements analysis<br />
• Information Systems quality<br />
• Information Systems hosting<br />
• Information Systems implementation and deployment study<br />
• Technical study and evaluation,<br />
• Software architecture study (also for future evolutions of the system(s)) and architecture<br />
design);<br />
• Information security studies and threat analysis activities<br />
• Implementation of the system(s):<br />
• Architecture design<br />
• Business analysis<br />
• Specification of business requirements<br />
• Database model analysis, design, documentation and implementation.<br />
• Software development<br />
• Functional and non-functional tests (including also unit test, integration iest, security test<br />
and performance test) and other necessary tests to ensure adequate quality of the<br />
deliverables<br />
• Corrections to software faults<br />
• Software releasing and deployment activities<br />
• Any relevant documentation<br />
All these tasks refer to creating new functionality and/or changing the existing functionality.<br />
• Support and maintenance<br />
• Support for <strong>ECHA</strong>’s specification work regarding software technical issues<br />
• Support for <strong>ECHA</strong>’s testing efforts<br />
• Operational support for <strong>ECHA</strong><br />
o Support for configuring the application and related software tools<br />
o Support for fine tuning different aspects of the application<br />
