<strong>Retuning</strong>: <strong>AKURA</strong> <strong>LCD</strong> <strong>“Freeview”</strong> <strong>TV</strong>/<strong>DVD</strong> combi’s<br />
This guide can be used to help you re-tune any of the following products with the Remote Control below:<br />
Models: APL<strong>DVD</strong>1621WHDID; APL<strong>DVD</strong>2049W HDID;APL<strong>DVD</strong>2421W HDID Solution SP82B<br />
Due to manufacturing processes various models may have an alternative software solution. This affects the<br />
retuning method, when selecting the model from Number the listing, of steps. please 10 check the Rating Label on the rear of your <strong>TV</strong><br />
for the correct software solution.<br />
Software Solutions :- MSD106/109 or SP82B or SP7050.<br />
If no solution is shown the <strong>TV</strong> will be MSD106/109.<br />
Make sure your <strong>TV</strong>/<strong>DVD</strong> is turned on and select 80 for the BBC News Channel<br />
1). Ensure D<strong>TV</strong> is<br />
selected. Press the<br />
SOURCE button.<br />
2). Use the Up/Down<br />
buttons to select<br />
D<strong>TV</strong> and press OK<br />
3). Press the <strong>LCD</strong><br />
MENU button. The<br />
Picture menu will be<br />
shown.<br />
4). Use the Down<br />
button to select<br />
Function Menu. Use<br />
the Right button to<br />
enter the Function<br />
Menu.<br />
5). Use the Down<br />
button to select the<br />
Installation Menu<br />
and press OK.<br />

First Time Installation<br />
Menu<br />
7). Press Down button<br />
to select DELETE<br />
PROGRAM and<br />
SEARCH PROGRAM.<br />
Set both to YES using<br />
the Right button.<br />
8). Press the Down<br />
button to select YES<br />
and press OK. The<br />
D<strong>TV</strong> channels will<br />
now be removed and<br />
Search will be started.<br />
The A<strong>TV</strong> tuning display will be shown<br />
advising how many stations have been<br />
found<br />
The D<strong>TV</strong> tuning display will then be<br />
shown advising how many services<br />
have been found<br />
When tuning is complete BBC1 on the<br />
Digital service will be displayed on the<br />
<strong>TV</strong> screen.<br />
*This process may affect any saved information stored on your product, including your Favourites list.<br />
