-: 8 :- e) Medical Examination (up to the extent of available vacancies only) DETAILED MEDICAL EXAMINATION After preparation of merit list, the candidates selected in order of merit equal to the number of vacancies will be put through a Detailed Medical Examination to asses their fitness. APPEAL AGAINST THE FINDINGS OF MEDICAL EXAMINATION In all cases where a candidate, who has been declared UNFIT for appointment in CISF in the Medical Examination, will be communicated the grounds for rejection in broad terms by the Examining Medical Officer. The candidate, if not satisfied with the findings of the Medical Examination, can submit an appeal within one month (30 days) for Review Medical Examination along with a proof of his fitness in the prescribed form as per Appendix – ‘I’. The medical certificate will not be taken into consideration unless it contains a note by the medical practitioner concerned to the effect that it has been given in full knowledge of the fact that the candidate has already been declared unfit for appointment by a Medical Officer and the opinion of the examining Medical Officer is an error of judgement. The appeal will also not be taken into consideration unless it contains Review Medical Examination fee of Rs.25/- through Demand Draft. (the details of authority to whom the appeal should be submitted and DDO concerned and payable branch etc., will be mentioned in the Rejection Slip itself to be issued by the Examining Medical Officer/Chairman of the Recruitment Board). Final Selection Final selection will be made from the candidates those found fit in the Medical Examination strictly according to merit and availability of vacancies. HOW TO APPLY 1. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria as prescribed above may submit their application on the format as per Appendix – ‘A’ to this notification, to any one of the following authorities convenient to them for attending the recruitment. CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION Application on the prescribed format duly filled in completely should be sent so as to reach the concerned Zonal DisG of CISF as shown above by 30-01-2009. No application will be entertained which is received after the above date. INSTRUCTIONS IN GENERAL 1. Candidates who are citizens of India should only apply. 2. Only eligible candidates may apply in the prescribed format. Candidates should minutely go through all the provisions in the notification to ensure that he is eligible for the post for which he is applying in terms of requirement of Age, education qualification etc. 3. Name and Father’s name should be exactly as mentioned in the Matriculation certificate/Discharge certificate. In case of change the same must be supported by necessary documents otherwise the candidature will be rejected. 4. The application form must be filled by the candidate in his own handwriting. Correction if any should be legible and attested by the candidate. 5. Application must be filled up either in English or Hindi only. 6. Applications duly filled in the prescribed format affixed with recent passport size photograph duly self attested may be sent to the concerned Zonal DisG as mentioned above alongwith the following documents. a) Three self addressed envelops of 12 x 27 Cms size (address must be written clearly on the envelop). Out of these three self addressed envelops, one envelop must be affixed with postal stamp of Rs.22/- so that call up letter may be sent through registered post. Otherwise the application will be summarily rejected. b) Two additional self signed (in the front) recent passport size photographs are required to be attached duly clipped alongwith application form. c) Questionnaire as per Appendix – ‘B’ duly filled in and signed by the candidate. d) Admit Card as per Appendix – ‘C’ duly filled in and signed by the candidate. e) Xerox copies of the education qualification certificate(s) in support of age and education qualification, issued by a recognised University/Board duly attested by a Gazetted Officer be enclosed. f) Xerox copies of certificates in the prescribed format as per Appendix – ‘D’, ‘E’ and ‘F’ belonging to SC/ST, OBC, Hillman/Tribesman or Adivasis (including Mizos and Nagas) issued by the competent authority. g) Candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas shall enclose certified true copy of certificates issued by SDM/Tehsildar or equivalent authority authorised by Central Government for getting relaxation in height and chest as per Appendix – ‘F’ of the notification.
