For the posts <strong>of</strong> Followers : The candidate should not have colour blindness, knock<br />

knee, flat foot, bow legs, varicose vein, squint eyes, inability to close the left eye, inability<br />

to flex the fingers properly and any other obvious deformities. He must be in good mental<br />

and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient<br />

performance <strong>of</strong> the duties.<br />

For all posts : The candidate should not have colour blindness, knock knee, flat foot,<br />

VIII) Caste Certificate<br />

The caste certificate produced by candidates should be those issued by competent<br />

authority in support <strong>of</strong> their claim <strong>of</strong> belonging to SC/ST and OBC. The candidate should<br />

produce caste certificate in the format as per Appendix – ‘D’ & ‘E’ <strong>of</strong> this notification. In<br />

case <strong>of</strong> failure to produce the caste certificate in prescribed format the age relaxation<br />

shall not allowed.<br />

3. SELECTION PROCEDURE<br />

a) Verification <strong>of</strong> documents (The Board is competent to take final decision in<br />

accepting/rejecting a candidate if he does not produce satisfactory/convincing<br />

documents.)<br />

b) Physical measurement<br />

c) Written Examination (Candidates appearing for the post <strong>of</strong> Followers are exempted<br />

from written test)<br />

d) Trade Test for Followers only<br />

Written Examination<br />

Assistant Sub-Inspector/Exe 100 Marks consisting <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>General</strong> English<br />

Essay in Hindi or English<br />

<strong>General</strong> Knowledge in Hindi or English<br />

– 30 Marks<br />

– 35 Marks<br />

– 35 Marks<br />

for one hour duration. Minimum qualifying marks will be<br />

50 Marks for all categories.<br />

Head Constable/GD 20 Marks to assess writing capability in English or Hindi<br />

for half an hour duration. Minimum qualifying marks will<br />

be 10 Marks for all categories.<br />

Constable/GD 50 Marks consisting <strong>of</strong> questions to assess candidates<br />

<strong>General</strong> awareness, <strong>General</strong> Knowledge, Knowledge <strong>of</strong><br />

elementary mathematic, ability to observe and distinguish<br />

patters and basic knowledge <strong>of</strong> English or Hindi for one<br />

hour and 30 minutes duration. Minimum qualifying<br />

marks will be 18 Marks for <strong>General</strong> Category and 17<br />

Marks for SC/ST/OBC category.<br />
