Chapter 2 Program Instructions<br />

Field of Application External command for receiving data using the ZMODEM protocol.<br />

Syntax RUN "rz [] []"<br />

:<br />

-c Forces no crash recovery, even if sender requests ZCRESUM<br />

(resume interrupted file transfer).<br />

-e Print last error to std OUT channel.<br />

-l[] Send verbose output to logfile. Default logfile name is<br />

"tmp:.zmodemlog".<br />

-r If ZMCLOB is not set and the file already exists, replace file<br />

if the transfer is successful.<br />

-v[] Set verbosity level. Level is a decimal number. Default level<br />

is 1.<br />

-u Translate file name to uppercase. If a filename is given as<br />

parameter, no translation is done.<br />

is optionally the name under which the file will be saved.<br />

Remarks If a file name is given in the statement, this name overrides the name given<br />

by the transmitting unit.<br />

Note that rz must be entered as lowercase characters. For more information<br />

on the ZMODEM protocol, please refer to http://www.omen.com. Related<br />

instructions are SZ (receive data using the ZMODEM protocol) and<br />

TRANSFER ZMODEM.<br />
