BARFONT (BF)<br />

Chapter 2 Program Instructions<br />

Field of Application Statement specifying fonts for the printing of bar code interpretation.<br />

Syntax BARFONT|BF[#,][,[,[,[,[,<br />

[,]]]]][ON]<br />

# is, optionally, the start parameter in the syntax above.<br />

is the name of the font selected for bar code interpretations.<br />

is the height in points of the font.<br />

is the clockwise slant in degrees (0-90°).<br />

is the distance in dots between bar code and bar font.<br />

is the magnification in regard of height.<br />

is the magnification in regard of width.<br />

nexp 6 > is the width enlargement in percent relative the height (1–<br />

1000). Default: 100. Does not work with bitmap fonts.<br />

ON optionally enables the printing of bar code interpretation.<br />

Reset to default by: PRINTFEED execution.<br />

Remarks Start Parameter:<br />

The start parameter specifies which parameter in the syntax above should be<br />

the first parameter in the statement. Thereby you may bypass some of the<br />

initial parameters.<br />

Default value: #1<br />

Font Name:<br />

This parameter corresponds to the FONT statement, but will only affect bar<br />

code interpretation. Double-byte fonts cannot be used.<br />

Default : Swiss 721 BT<br />

Font Size:<br />

This parameter corresponds to the FONT statement, but will only affect bar<br />

code interpretation. The size is measured in points (1 point = 1/72 inch ≈ 0.352<br />

mm).<br />

Default : 12<br />

Font Slant:<br />

This parameter corresponds to the FONT statement, but will only affect bar<br />

code interpretation. Slanting increases clockwise. Values greater that 65–70°<br />

will be unreadable.<br />

Default : 0<br />

Vertical Offset:<br />

The distance between the bottom of the bar code pattern and the top of the<br />

character cell is given as a number of dots.<br />

Default value: 6<br />
