PRLINE (PL)<br />

Field of Application Statement for creating a line.<br />

Syntax PRLINE|PL,<br />

Chapter 2 Program Instructions<br />

is the length of the line in dots (max. 6000).<br />

is the line weight in dots (max. 6000).<br />

Remarks The line will be drawn from the insertion point and away according to the<br />

nearest preceding DIR and ALIGN statements. The line runs in parallel with<br />

text printed in the selected direction.<br />

A line can be ALIGNed left, right or centre. The anchor points are situated<br />

at the bottom of the line, i.e. with an increased line weight (thickness), the line<br />

will the grow upward in relation to the selected direction. In the illustration<br />

below, all lines are aligned left.<br />

Example This example draws a 2.5 cm (1") long and 10 dots thick line across the paper<br />

in a 12 dots/mm printer:<br />
