Chapter 2 Program Instructions<br />

The keyboard can be remapped in order to better suit special applications or<br />

national standards.<br />

The string that contains the desired keyboard map should contain the decimal<br />

ASCII value for each of 64 key positions (in ascending order) according to<br />

the matrix illustrated below. Note that the position of the Shift key cannot be<br />

remapped.<br />

Characters, that cannot be produced by the keyboard of the host, can be<br />

substituted by CHR$ functions, where the character is specified by its ASCII<br />

decimal value according to the selected character set (see NASC statement).<br />

The same applies to special characters.<br />
