Chapter 2 Program Instructions<br />

Field of Application Variable returning or setting the keyboard map table.<br />

Syntax Read the map table: = KEYBMAP$()<br />

returns the keyboard mapping<br />

is the type of string to be returned:<br />

0 = Unshifted 64 characters<br />

1 = Shifted 64 characters<br />

Set the map table: KEYBMAP$() = <br />

is the type of string to be remapped:<br />

0 = Unshifted 64 characters<br />

1 = Shifted 64 characters<br />

is the string specifying the ASCII value for each key position<br />

in the selected type of string.<br />

Remarks By default, the keys on the printer's built-in keyboard will produce decimal<br />

ASCII values according to the illustration below. Activating the key<br />

adds 128 to the value of the corresponding unshifted key.<br />
