Preamble A<br />

Data Entry Commands - Preamble A<br />

Purpose: Enters up to 25 characters into the Preamble A buffer to be transmitted with<br />

the data. For an explanation of preambles, see Chapter 5, “Data<br />

Communications and Operating Options.”<br />

If you enter the Preamble A command without entering data, then the<br />

preamble buffer is cleared.<br />

If you enter a single space or you enter data from the terminal, all<br />

subsequent data is stored in the preamble buffer until you send the Enter<br />

command (**) or until the buffer overflows.<br />
