Configuring the <strong>9560</strong><br />

Moving Around in Prompting Configuration Mode<br />

You can move through all the parameters of a particular task or move through<br />

the options within each parameter.<br />

To move through Prompting Configuration mode<br />

1. Decide which task to perform: select bar codes, set operating parameters, or<br />

define host protocols.<br />

2. Press Enter until the prompt for that task appears on the screen or terminal<br />

display. Pressing Enter moves you to the next configuration prompt.<br />

3. Press Space until the option you want appears on the screen. Pressing<br />

Space cycles through the choices for the current prompt.<br />

4. Press Enter to accept the currently displayed option. The prompt for the<br />

next parameter is displayed.<br />

is stored in the buffer until you exit Prompting<br />

Configuration mode.<br />

Ctrl P Treat the next character entered as data. You can<br />

enter control characters into configuration<br />

command strings.<br />

Note: You must set the <strong>9560</strong> for transparent or buffered display if you are using a CRT.<br />
